- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice

- In around a 3 to 4-quart saucepan, mix with the lemon juice, berries, and sugar and bring to a boil to dissolve the sugar.
- As it comes to a rolling boil, stir and mash the berries and continue boiling until this mixture thickens.
- This should take around 10 minutes continuing to stir and mash the berries.
- Once this thickens, turn off the heat and cool.
- Ladle into mason jars.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks or freeze it.
