Step-by-Step Easy Snicker Bar Cream Pie

- use thawed whipped topping
- cream cheese must be room temperature or softened in the microwave
- cream the peanut butter with cream cheese and powdered sugar until very smooth before adding the whipped topping
- gently fold in the candy
- use any crust you like, pretzel, graham cracker, chocolate or pie crust
- garnish with either candy or hot fudge ice cream topping, caramel topping, and peanuts if desired
- store pie in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours before serving
- cover leftovers and store for up to 3 days in the refrigerator
- substitute another candy bar with the same filling if you're not a Snicker bar fan

Snicker Bar Cream Pie
Decadent caramel, peanut candy, engulfed in a creamy peanut butter cream cheese and whipped topping fluffy filling.

Ingredients
- 1 block of cream cheese softened
- 1 8 - ounce tub of whipping topping thawed
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 12 - fun -size Snicker bars (or 6 full-sized bars) chopped into small pieces (I just break them apart)
- 1 graham cracker crust, chocolate crust (homemade or store-bought recipe)
- Optional Garnish: 1 full graham cracker crushed into crumbs, chopped candy bars for the top of the pie
- Graham Cracker Crust Recipe:
- 2 cups graham crackers crumbs put through a food processor until fine crumbs appear ( The crust can also be made with Oreo cookies, nutter butter, vanilla wafers, or any other cookies you prefer
- Reserve a few tablespoons of crumbs for the top of the pie
Instructions
- If using a homemade graham cracker crust, prepare that first.
- In a medium-sized mixing bowl, add the cream cheese, and peanut butter with the powdered sugar and beat this mixture until smooth and creamy on high speed ( around 3 to 4 minutes)
- Fold in the whipped topping with most of the chopped candy bars (saving some for the top.
- Pour into the prepared crust, sprinkle the top with graham cracker crumbs, and add the rest of the candy bars on top of the pie for garnishing.
- Refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours (or until firm for easier cutting) if you can wait that long the pie is fluffy delicious and decadent.
- For the Graham Crust Directions:
- If using graham crackers or vanilla wafers, place them in a bowl with melted butter and sugar.
- Press into a 9-inch deep pie plate and pack the crumbs down.
- Bake for 7 minutes at 375 degrees cool completely before filling.
- Pretzel Crust: (make 2 pie crusts)
- 3/4 cup softened butter
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 1/2 cups crushed pretzels
- Directions: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and lightly oil spray either two pie plates or a 13 x 9 casserole-style pan and set aside.
- Place all the ingredients in a bowl and mix to combine.
- Press into the prepared pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool, add pie fillings of your choice.
