The bars are super fast to make with just a few ingredients and a different version of that popular Rice Krispie bar everyone loves with melted marshmallows.
For Halloween, I make a round 6-inch spring form pan-round filled with Chocolate Peanut Butter Krispies. This gets frosted with white icing and then piped with the face of Jack Skellington (from The Nightmare Before Christmas) it is a fun creation for the kids. Photo below.

Fun Chocolate Peanut Butter Cereal Treats
Marshmallow cereal treats are such a fun easy-to-make dessert and with the addition of chocolate Krispies and peanut butter, it's a whole new experience of taste in these little bars.
This isn't a new recipe, Mom made these back in the 1970s when I was a little, and I remember she added a bit more peanut butter to her recipe and they stayed a little softer.
I really like the ease of these, plus they can be made in less than a half hour and are the perfect take-along for picnics, road trips, or even a backyard barbecue.
