This is a super easy meal and can be on the table in less than 30 minutes.
This sauce is great for chicken, fish, steak, pork whatever, and even delicious with crusty bread to sop up that beer sauce with some roasted vegetables as a side dish..
Our medley consists of our favorites being scallops, shrimp, lobster, and calamari rings in this dish, and if we have fresh fish we even use Mahi Mahi or flounder.

- if using meats instead of seafood cook to your preference before adding the beer first
- you can use regular or smoked paprika in this recipe
- mixed greens, spinach, and arugula can be used
- outdoor grilling: oil spray a cast-iron skillet until the shrimp is pink and the seafood is hot all the way through
- air fryer: place in an ovenproof casserole dish at 425 degrees oil spray a baking dish and cook for 6 to 8 minutes or until the shrimp turns pink
- baked: baked the seafood in a greased casserole set in a preheated oven of 400 degrees for 7 to 8 minutes or until the shrimp is pink

This dirty seafood dish is a spicy dish that is wonderful with white rice or even on fancy greens. The sauce is a spicy beer and butter sauce with calamari rings, shrimp, and large scallops.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs mixed seafood: scallops, calamari rings, shrimp, shelled and deveined (fresh or frozen)
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
- 2 or 3 sprigs of dill weed
- 1 teaspoon granulated garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 - 1/2 teaspoons smoked paprika or regular
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon salt, to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup beer
- Optional for Serving:
- Fancy Greens
- 2 cups or more of cooked rice
Instructions
- Saute fresh garlic and herbs in butter until garlic on low heat in a deep frying pan until light brown.
- Add the seasoning and herbs with seafood, stirring constantly, until the shrimp are pink and done around 4 or 5 minutes (depending on how large they are).
- Pour in beer, simmer for 1 minute more, and serve over cooked white rice or spoon over your favorite salad greens!
