If there are kids around to enjoy a hot summer pool day, I usually add some honey to sweeten these up just a tad and make them in a pitcher with a medley or fruits..

If you like the flavors that are in these alcohol styled beverage drinks, then these summer mocktails are a healthy tasty alternative that you're going to love.
These will hydrate you in the warmer weather and you can drink loads of it and not worry about your waistline because they have very few calories, if any, depending on what you choose for ingredients.
I usually make a whole pitcher full and add ice as I need it, and what's better than making a drink that takes only a few minutes to make and delicious like these, I would say nothing.
If you have guests that want the alcohol, just pass them a bottle and add a shot to their drink, no problem, but for the non-alcohol drinkers, this will be perfect for all ages even the kids.
Perfect for parties especially in a punch bowl, the floating fruits are the perfect beverage for entertaining guests.
The only thing you really need to be well-stocked on, ice lots of ice, so make it ahead of time and keep a good supply in the freezer.
Ingredients You Will Need
- fruits of choice, berries, citrus of any kind see suggestions below
- any of your favorite flavored sparkling water of choice ( we like San Pellegrino, or some of the popular flavored canned sparkling waters)
- ice
- honey, sugar, or sugar substitutes are optional
- fun toothpick umbrellas or other garnishing picks for fruits

- ripe peaches mashed
- bananas mashed
- mango or papaya
- pineapple adding toasted coconut and coconut water or coconut milk instead of sparkling water
- use any kinds of soda you prefer instead of sparkling water
- Note: For dietary needs use stevia, swerve, or any other sugar substitute
- cucumbers are another good source to use for a refreshing drink just use 25 slices of cucumbers to 1 liter of water and let sit for 2 hours or up to 12 add more water if it's too strong to your liking.

All these drinks are delicious all year round and so pretty to serve even around any holiday and of course for those who do want to partake in the addition of alcohol, just add a shot of your favorite liqueur in your drink (I won't tell!).

Summer Mocktails

These are refreshing summer drink recipes using all kindsof fresh fruits you prefer. Perfect non-alcohol mocktails for a delicious day in the sun.
Ingredients
- Fruit Mocktail Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons water
- 5 raspberries, blackberries, or small strawberries per drink smashed
- 1 teaspoon honey optional or use stevia for substituting if you want sweetness ( I prefer none)
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 12 ounces of flavored zero-calorie sparkling water or San Pelligrino sparkling waters ( I prefer raspberry, blackberry, or any citrus flavors)
- Garnish: raspberries whole, blackberries whole, strawberries, orange slices, lime slices, and lemon slices
- Fancy picks to hold the fruits, IE umbrellas, frilly ended toothpicks or party-themed flags for a holiday
- Virgin Mojito Mocktail Ingredients:
- 15 fresh mint leaves saving 5 for garnishing
- Optional: 1 teaspoon honey optional or stevia
- 1-ounce fresh lime juice
- 8 ounces of lemon-lime sparkling water, ( or use orange San Pellegrino or another brand you prefer) you can also use lemon-like soda or even a citrus soda beverage
- assorted citrus slices, blood oranges, lime, lemons, or just use one kind you prefer
- ice
- Garnish: slices of citrus more mint
Instructions
- Fruit Mocktail Directions:
- Mash the fresh raspberries in a small bowl.
- Mix in 2 tablespoons of water.
- Stir in honey and or you can use sugar until dissolved.
- Strain into another small bowl and set aside.
- Fill a glass with ice then add the sparkling water.
- Squeeze in the juice from the lime.
- Slowly pour in the raspberry mixture ( which will sink to the bottom but looks so pretty!
- Serve with more fresh raspberries strawberries or blackberries whichever drink your making or all three!
- Virgin Mojito Instructions:
- Place mint leaves and lime juice in a mason jar and let them sit for 1 minute.
- Add the honey or stevia (note: if you prefer no sweetness omit).
- Add the sparkling water.
- Garnish with citrus slices and a sprig of mint.
