Store-bought ingredients or homemade ravioli are wonderfully fried, baked, or air fried.

Party Food

Who knew that the typical sauce laden pasta would taste so great fried then dipped in tomato sauce?

All ravioli starts with pasta dough, typically made by mixing egg, flour, salt, olive oil, and water then filled with cheese or other fillings, boiled in saltwater then served with sauce on top.

These fried breaded ravioli can also be made using various methods for cooking below.

The first time these were ever served (which were called toasted or fried ravioli), originated in a St. Louis Missouri restaurant back in the 1950s.
