- wash and slice the zucchini
- zucchini slices need to be sliced around 1/2 inch thick
- spoon your favorite pizza sauce on top
- add your favorite meats, vegetables finely minced
- place the cheese IE: mozzarella or another cheese you prefer
- sprinkle with herbs and seasonings
- bake until the cheese is light and golden brown

Zucchini Pizza Bites
A little appetizer with loads of flavor just like pizza using zucchini slices
Prep time: 10 MinCook time: 20 MinTotal time: 30 Min
Ingredients
- 2 medium-sized zucchini sliced 1/2 inch or thicker
- 1 can of pizza tomato sauce ( you will need around 2 teaspoons per slice)
- 2 cups of shredded or around 12 deli slices of mozzarella cheese or provolone
- 1 container grated cheese Parmesan and Romano blend
- salt, pepper
- freshly chopped oregano, basil, parsley, or dried
- Cooking spray oil or olive oil
- parchment paper and a baking sheet

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
- Place parchment paper on a cookie sheet and spray it with cooking oil.
- For firmer zucchini bites broil these on high for 5 to 6 minutes on foil, not parchment paper
- Wash and slice the zucchini into 1/2-inch thick and leave some stripes on the zucchini slices.
- Place the cut zucchini sliced on the baking sheet.
- Spoon pizza sauce using a a few teaspoons evenly on top of each slice of zucchini (depending on the size of them use more or less sauce).
- Add any kinds of optional topping suggestions in the notes below on top you would add to regular pizza.
- Sprinkle with grated cheese and all seasonings evenly over the tops of each one.
- Top each mozzarella or another cheese you prefer.
- Spray the tops with cooking oil spray.
- Bake at 400 degrees until the cheese browns around 10 to 15 minutes.
- Air fryer: Single the zucchini (not stacked) at 400 degrees for 5 minutes.
- Broil: Place on high if you would like them al dente' for around 3 minutes or until the cheese is browned.
