These are a delicious cookie so easy to make with macadamia nuts and coconut, a festive treat for the holiday.
ingredients:
2 1/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 cup softened butter
2 eggs
1 cup chopped macadamia nut or any other nuts you prefer
1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
3/4 cup coconut put through the food processor
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
Optional: 3 drops green food coloring Candied cherries cut up coconut flavoring (I used coconut oil)

instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Line cookie sheets with parchment paper. In an electric mixer, cream the sugars and butter till light. Add the eggs.
Slowly blend in the flour, salt, baking soda, and food coloring if using. Stir in the rest of the ingredients. Decorate with the many options stated above.
Roll into balls. Put a cherry on each one. Place on prepared cookie sheet. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes till edges are brown tops are set.
Cool. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
