Peanut Butter and More
I love these bars, the tender cake is very moist and so decadent.
They are so good with a cup of hot cocoa, especially when it's a bit chilly out.
These bars are also the perfect dessert for any sporting events or tv get-togethers.
Like I mentioned previously, make a double batch, these will be a huge hit!
Easy Ingredients
I always have these pantry ingredients in the house so whenever someone gets a sweet tooth craving,
I just whip these right up.
These brownie batter for these bars are sturdy when cut and don't crumble like some cakes or bars.
They really are the perfect treat!
If you need to make a special quick dessert bar, these hold up nicely for traveling too for picnics.
Tips:
- I do like to mix the butter and sugar together for that creamy blend, it's a little easier when mixing by hand.
- Toss the chips you're using with flour before putting them in the batter.
- I also sprinkle some on the top of the batter.
- You can use many kinds of additions to include even peanut butter cups cut up or other chips.
- IE white chocolate, peanut butter chips or even butterscotch chips.
- Add any kind of nuts you like to the batter at the end.
- I have also used almond butter, it also works great.
