Homemade Mini Meatball and Sausage Skewers
Mini Meatballs and Sausage Appetizers for a large party and crowd. Baked and ready to be dipped in a warm marinara or another sauce you prefer.
Ingredients
- Meatballs Appetizer:
- 2 pounds of ground beef
- 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons granulated garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons fresh or dried Italian parsley
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup Pecorino Romano cheese
- Mix all the above for meatball mixture in a bowl and set aside.
- Italian Sausage Appetizers:
- 2 pounds of ground pork
- 2 tablespoons fennel seeds
- 1 teaspoon granulated garlic powder
- 1/4 cup mixed dried Italian herbs
- 3 tablespoons of paprika
- 2 eggs
- Mix all the above ingredients for sausage in a bowl and set aside.
Instructions
- For Meatballs:
- Roll by hand or use a melon ball scoop to make round balls and set them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake at 400 degrees until crispy around 35 to 40 minutes.
- Add toothpicks while warm and serve on a platter.
- For Sausage:
- Shape them by hand like logs and set them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake at 400 degrees until crispy around 35 to 40 minutes.
