Keep Berries of all kinds Fresh for up to TWO WEEKS!
- Soak the berries in 2 tablespoons of white or apple cider vinegar in around 5 to 6 cups of cold water
- Soak the berries for 10 minutes.
- Blot dry.
- Store in a mason jar or even in the original containers
Store Apples All Winter Long!
- wrap each one in newspaper
- store not touching in a cardboard box
- do not store them near other vegetables like potatoes or food
- keep in a cool place like a second refrigerator or in the garage but not in a freezing temperatures some will last up to a year

- Quick homemade pickles? Save the brine from the old pickle jars. Place the sliced cucumbers in the brine and set in the refrigerator for a few days. You can also add carrots, cauliflower, green beans, and garlic. To speed up the process parboil the vegetables first.

- Freezing Eggs: Did you know you can freeze eggs for up to one year? When you're ready to use frozen eggs, thaw them overnight in the refrigerator or under running cold water. Use them as soon as they are thawed.
- Cake Batter Tips: Tint your cake batter with corresponding Holiday colors. Bake in a brownie-size pan. Cool, cut into shapes like shamrocks, red stars, pink or blue baby theme, or Christmas trees. Make another raw batter and drop the cooked shapes into the batter. When you slice the cake you will have a great surprise inside.

- Sponge Cleaning: Soak a sponge in water and microwave it for one minute. It will loosen the grime inside up to be cleaned. Afterward, soak the sponge in water and vinegar and then microwave for one minute this will sanitize both.
- Stainless Steel Cleaner: Mix baby oil and dish soap in a bowl and dip your washcloth in it to clean stainless steel

- Removing Fat from Soup: Remove fat by putting an ice cube in a hot soup or casserole. The fat will go straight to the top and be easy to scoop out with a spoon
