Chocolate Pumpkin Spice Bars

Chocolate Pumpkin Spice Bars is a doctored cake mix /bar turned into the best fall cake flavor ever!
Ingredients
- 1- Chocolate Cake mix any kind you like
- 1 - 15 ounce can of pumpkin puree (or 1 3/4 cups fresh as I used)
- Cinnamon around 1 teaspoon
- 1 Egg
- Optional mix-ins:
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or butterscotch chips
- Garnish:
- Powdered sugar or you can use canned cream cheese frosting after the cooled or serve with whipped cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease a 13 x 9 cake pan.
- Mix all ingredients together in a bowl by hand or by using an electric mixer until well blended.
- If using chocolate chips fold them in.
- Pour the batter into a greased pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees until the middle is set around 35 to 40 minutes, depending on your oven, use the toothpick method.
- Cool. Frost, serve with whipped cream, or sprinkle with powdered sugar.
- Cream Cheese Frosting:
- 3 cups whipping cream
- 4 ounces softened cream cheese
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 4 teaspoons milk
- Add the cream cheese to a mixing bowl and beat using a high-powered electric mixer, whip just till blended.
- Add the cream and keep beating on high until adding the powdered sugar until soft peaks are formed.
- Frost cooled cakes, keep cake refrigerated.
