It's great for breakfast, brunch, or lunch.
Add some grilled chicken or meat and this also makes a great side dish.
This tart really goes with anything and anytime.
We really love it as it is light for the summer months and since we have a beautiful garden and grow our own tomatoes and zucchini this is a win-win to enjoy the fruits of our labor!
When you serve this to friends and family, don't be surprised they think it took all day for you to do and more gourmet than just a usual tart to serve.
You can make this elegant and serve it on a bed of fresh lettuce greens if you really want to wow your family or guests.

Zucchini and Tomatoes
This baked delicious blend of flavors just shouts warmer weather and bright sunny days.
The blend of fresh vegetables and cheeses keeps summer alive all year long.
You can adapt this quiche-like tart so many ways by just a few additions your family may like in its place from vegetarian to meat loves, and even lower fat.
Cheeses
If you love cheese, the mozzarella that is used in this tart is a mild taste.
You can substitute cheddar, provolone, or any easy melting cheese you like.
I really love to sprinkle a little Romano cheese on top of the tomatoes and then drizzle them with olive oil before baking.
If you are watching carbs, then substitute crushed pork rinds for the bread crumbs.
