Guinness Beer Marinade For Ribeye Steaks
Yield: 2
Prep time: 10 MinCook time: 8 MinTotal time: 18 Min
This is a beer sauce we make for St. Patrick's Day dinner using ribeye steaks in the marinade then grilled to perfection. This is a tender mouth-watering seasoned steak.
Ingredients
- (I double this recipe)
- 1 cup Guinness beer or another stout beer
- 1/2 cup chopped bottled Italian pepperoncini peppers plus 1 tablespoon of the juice
- 3 cloves minced garlic
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons molasses
- 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 rib eye or other meat you prefer(pork chops, chicken are also great)
- Optional Toppings: Sauteed Mushrooms ( use some of the marinades to cook them in and butter) Dubliner Cheese shredded, coleslaw
- Note: if using seafood only marinate up to 30 minutes to an hour
Instructions
- Whisk together all the ingredients in a pouring bowl with a spout.
- Place steaks in a large zip lock bag with all the rest of the marinades.
- Note: I marinate this overnight, I like to get at least 4 hours of marinating steaks before cooking them.
- Take the steaks out of the marinade and save 1 cup place in a small saucepan (2 cups if doubling) and throw the rest away.
- Preheat your grill and cook your steaks by your own preference.
- In the meantime boil the reserved marinade in the saucepan and reduced it in half for 7 to 10 minutes to baste the steaks.
- Air fry: for 8 to 11 minutes at 400 to 425 degrees medium.
- Broil: for 11 minutes top rack in the oven.
- We like them medium so it's around 7 minutes on each side.
- Internal Temperatures:
- Medium Rare: 135 degrees and pink
- Medium: 145 degrees some pink
- Well: 155 degrees very little pink
