This is a delicious easy pumpkin tart. It's made with pureed pumpkin and condensed milk. An easy sweet dessert perfect for fall and the pumpkin season

ingredients:

  • Crust:
  • 2 1/2 cups crushed cinnamon-flavored graham cracker (two packages of crackers) you can also use vanilla wafers or ginger snaps instead
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice or more to your taste
  • 1/2 cup pecans
  • 6 tablespoons butter melted
  • Filling:
  • 1- 15 ounce can pumpkin puree not pie filling
  • 1 can sweeten condensed milk (not evaporated)
  • 2 eggs yolks
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • pinch of nutmeg
  • pinch of salt

instructions:

How to cook Pumpkin Custard Tart with Pecan Crust

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Make crust below using a removable bottom tart pan that has been oil sprayed. lined with parchment or greased.
  2. Crust Directions:
  3. Place everything except butter, in a food processor and blend together.
  4. Mix the butter with the pecan crumb mixture.
  5. Line the greased removable bottom tart pan with this pecan mixture into the pan. Bake for 10 minutes and cool. In the meantime make the filling.
  6. Filling Directions:
  7. Mix everything in a bowl and set aside while the crust is baking. 
  8. Pour into cooled crust and bake for 30 minutes or until set in the middle.
  9. Refrigerate at least 1 hour in the tart pan. Remove the outer ring before serving. Store tart in the refrigerator is any leftovers.
