Here is the easiest no-bake Patriotic Trifle dessert ever and so pretty!


This layered cake can be all homemade or super simple by gathering store-bought ingredients.


The dessert is a showstopper centerpiece for any Patriotic event and will wow your guests.


Not to mention, it can be made in less than 15 minutes.


Layered cake, cream, and berries finished and topped off with a pretty design will have everyone thinking you fussed all day to make!

This is a festive 4th of July trifle with vanilla pudding, strawberries, blueberries, pound cake and cream in a clear bowl



Ingredients You Will Need To Make This Trifle Bowl


  1. You favorite homemade cake or store-bought (pound cake or angel food is what we use)
  2. Whipped cream
  3. Berries of choice blue or red
  4. Seedless jam (red)

Other Tips and Suggestions


  • Warm the jam for 10 seconds in the microwave (for easy flowing jam)
  • Use any flavor cake mix and bake your favorite yellow or white cake
  • Frozen thawed pounds cakes work great also
  • Angel food cake absorbs the flavors the best and holds up better than regular cakes
  • Make your favorite pudding or to save time use the snack pack containers you will need 8
  • Use freshly whipped homemade whipped cream or frozen whipped topping
  • Serve in dessert see-through glass bowls
  • For sugar-free desserts substitute sugar-free pudding, cream and jam (use only angel food cake)

Here is a Patriotic no-bake trifle dessert that is the perfect dessert for the 4th of July, Labor Day, Memorial Day, Veterans Day or a great summer dessert with fresh berries and cream layered in a glass bowl.

Ingredients:

  • Any size Store-bought Angel Food Cake  or Pound Cake
  • Your favorite  whipped topping or heavy cream around 3 cups
  • 1 cup Fresh Blueberries washed and dry
  • 1 pound of Fresh Strawberries hulled and sliced
  • 2 cups Any light-colored puddings instant,  individual cups premade,  homemade, or cooked  pudding from a package (vanilla, coconut, banana cream choose any flavor you like
  • 1/2 warmed seedless jam ( I prefer red raspberry
  • Optional: blue seedless grapes instead of blueberries can be used along with raspberries instead of strawberries.

Instructions:

  1. Cut the cake into small slices or chunks or break up your cake with your fingers.
  2. Use a trifle bowl or a see-through glass bowl.
  3. First place the cake in the middle bottom of the bowl arranging the sliced strawberry flat inside the bowl so you can see them through the glass from the outside.
  4. Use some blueberries just on the edges to also see them on from the outside as you build the trifle.
  5. Scoop some jam on the cake first, then a light layer of pudding whipped cream then more cake.
  6. Repeat the layering,  until all the ingredients are gone saving some cream blueberries and strawberries for the top for garnish.
  7. Spoon or drizzle some jam on top of the berries.
  8. Serve in small glass dessert dishes.
