The Perfect Party Pleaser Sandwich
I love all kinds of appetizer fun foods like this, especially when they are easy to make sandwiches.
These are perfect for entertaining a small brunch get-together, game day, and especially for bringing to that last-minute invite, they're just the right bite for any party.
The ham, cheese, and chicken are a perfect little starter since they are really small sandwiches and so quick and easy with our suggestions below.
The best part about this easy cordon bleu sandwich is it takes half the time to make and has the same big taste as that gourmet meal in just 25 minutes using all store-bought ingredients.
Ingredients Needed (scroll down to the recipe card for exact measurements to print this off)
- slider buns
- thinly sliced deli ham
- alfredo sauce
- granulated garlic powder
- slices swiss cheese
- butter
- parsley
- chicken tenders precooked
- black pepper
- optional shredded swiss cheese for the top
Tools You Will Need:
- Microwave proof bowl to melt butter or a saucepan
- baking pan to fit 12 rolls
- Tongs
- Measuring spoons
- knife
- Parchment paper for easy cleanup line the baking pan with
Tips:
- Use any kind of slider buns regular or sweet
- For authentic copycat use a good grade french cheese and slice it yourself
- Watch the time on baking not to over crisp the tops of the rolls
- Use any store-bought alfredo sauce or make it homemade also use extra to dip the sandwich in
- Add more cheese if you're a big cheese fan shredded on top before baking
- We prefer Black Forest deli ham but you can use any kind of cooked deli ham you like
- Optional: add crispy cooked bacon, lettuce, tomato, or even some cooked peppers and mushrooms to create a whole new sandwich to your cordon bleu

Quick and Easy Sliders
As I mentioned previously you can make these quick and easy cordon bleu sliders with all store-bought premade cooked ingredients or make your own chicken tenders, alfredo sauce and even use that leftover spiral ham from a holiday.
This recipe is so easily adaptable, add whatever else you like to the ingredient list and make it spicy with jalapeno peppers or add a little cayenne pepper to the butter for a little heat.

Chicken Cordon Bleu Sliders

This easy-baked chicken cordon bleu sandwich has all the big tastes of the original dish. With the addition of Alfredo sauce, this makes the perfect brunch simply delicious.
Ingredients
- 1 package of slider small rolls
- 12 chicken tenders store-bought precooked or make your own cooked homemade
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 teaspoon parsley,
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic powder or minced
- 12 slices of deli ham
- 12 slices of swiss cheese or more see notes
- 1/2 cup Alfredo sauce store-bought or homemade
- Optional: shredded swiss cheese for garnishing on top see notes below
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
- Line a 13 x 9 baking pan with a parchment pan or grease it.
- Make the chicken and keep warm, either homemade or store-bought chicken precooked. Keep them warm.
- Open up each bun or slice them if necessary and add the bottoms to a prepared baking pan saving the tops.
- Add the cooked chicken to each bun first.
- Spoon a little of the Alfredo sauce on each piece of chicken around 2 teaspoons.
- Melt the butter adding herbs and garlic to it.
- Add a slice of cheese, then the ham on top.
- Place the top of the bun back on and brush with melted butter.
- Note: for cheese lovers, you can add more shredded swiss cheese to the top then
- Bake for 20 minutes until browned and the cheese is melted.
