This bark candy is great for any occasion even white chocolate tinted for a wedding theme, baby shower and so much more.
We have made this breast cancer awareness fundraisers, sporting events, and just about any kind of event, it's needed for it's such a crowd-pleaser.
When picking out the chocolate we always buy a good grade and the rule is if you like it eating it before it's melted, then it's a winner for the recipe.

Ingredients You Will Need(see below recipe card for measurements)
- fruits, nuts, cereal, pretzels, crackers, coated colorful candies
- White, Milk, or Dark Chocolate, Mint, Peanut Butter, Butterscotch or another favorite
- butter, vanilla, cinnamon
- Garnishes and Suggestions: Holiday-themed colored sprinkles or nonpareils, chopped nuts, coconut, chopped dried fruits, chopped candy bars, mini chocolate chips, popcorn, marshmallows, red and green candied cherries, or other holiday-colored candies like crushed peppermint sticks, Halloween candy, etc
- Optional Food Coloring for white chocolate to make it pastels or another color you prefer besides white.
Other Tip Suggestions:
- mix in melted white or milk chocolate
- top while warm with colorful sprinkles or sugars
- add mini marshmallows for garnish for a rocky road style bark
- add popped corn
- garnish with chocolate chips, peanut butter, or mint chips
- add assorted nuts, sunflower, or pumpkin seeds
- add coconut
- use any colorful miniature crackers, graham crackers, broken cookies or any cereals you prefer
- dried fruits
- melt chocolate in 30-second increments be careful not to burn it
- store in cool dry places in tightly covered containers
- work quickly to spread out on a cookie sheet, the chocolate hardens quickly and if using sprinkles you need to be fast before it cools
- use only good grade chocolate or it will ruin the taste of the whole snack mix

Chocolate Pistachio Fruit and Nut Bark

A delicious assortment of fruits and nuts in a thin layer of melted chocolate. A very versatile recipe that can be adapted with whatever you prefer in it. Perfect for gift giving.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Dried Cranberries
- 1/4 cup Green Chopped Cherries in halves
- 1/4 cup Red Chopped Cherries in halves
- 1/4 cup Dried Apricots chopped
- 1/4 cup Yellow Raisins
- 1/2 cup Whole Pistachios
- 1 cup Whole Almonds
- 18 ounces Good Grade Dark Chocolate
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Melt the chocolate over a double boiler or in the microwave stirring every minute until melted.
- Add the cinnamon, vanilla, and butter.
- Add all the fruits and then the nuts last. Mix until all coated.
- With an offset spatula, quickly spread the mixture out on parchment paper.
- Place in the refrigerator for a few hours until set.
- Break into pieces.
- Store in a plastic container or mason jars for gift giving.
- Will keep up to three weeks or longer when stored in the refrigerator..
