We usually just made ham on Easter then everyone loved this recipe so much it was another addition to Thanksgiving and sometimes Christmas Day.
With these delicious ingredients, it was no surprise, this ham was super delicious, melted in our mouth, juicy, tender, and sweet, a great addition to my recipe collection.
Mom always made ham this way but used seven up instead of pineapple juice, and loaded it with maraschino cherries (which you can still decorate the ham with).

- Use a meat thermometer to ensure the middle of your ham is cooked the internal temperature should be 140 degrees

- brown sugar
- dry mustard
- cinnamon
- ground cloves
- honey
- chunk pineapple
- enough pineapple juice to make it spread

Honey Glazed Spiral Cut Ham

This is a honey-glazed ham and a very delicious and easy recipe. Mom always used these ingredients to make a yummy sweet glaze on Easter Sunday ham. The ham has honey and pineapple in this recipe.
Ingredients:
- 1 - 10-pound spiral-cut ham
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 cup of honey
- 2 tablespoons butter salted
- 1 teaspoon orange zest
- Garnish:
- 1 can slice, crushed, or chunk pineapple
- Enough pineapple juice to make it spread
- Optional: maraschino cherries to decorate with
Instructions:
How to cook Honey Glazed Spiral Cut Ham
- Set ham cut-side down in a large roasting pan and bake in a preheated oven of 350 degrees.
- Follow directions on spiral cut ham per pound cooking times.
- This took 3 hours and 30 minutes covered loosely with foil.
- Near the end place all ingredients in a saucepan until the sugar dissolves around 2 minutes.
- Brush and baste ham and set the oven up to 375 degrees for 10 more minutes.
- Add pineapple and cherries on top for garnishing and set on the broil for 2 minutes if using.
- Do not carve the ham for 20 minutes, let it rest before carving.
- Note: if the sauce gets too thick add pineapple juice to loosen
