If you're not a fan of venison meat, you can substitute it with any seafood, or meats, and even add other kinds of vegetables to make a tasty one-pan meal you're family would prefer.
Venison will compliment the rice and with vegetables, you'll be surprised with this Asian sauce added at the end that enhances all the flavors, to make the gaminess flavors go away.

Venison Fried Rice
Venison Fried Rice made with quick rice and vegetables for a hearty delicious side dish or whole meal!

Ingredients
- 3 cups instant rice cooked and drained or steamed regular rice cooked
- 2 venison steaks sliced thin (or any parts of the venison, most parts are all very tender except the stew meat)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup frozen peas and carrots or use frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 egg beaten
Instructions
- In a large deep wok or fry pan add 1 tablespoon olive oil and saute the venison steak set aside.
- In the same pan add 1 tablespoon butter and the egg and whisk until it is scrambled.
- Add the rice and saute until rice starts to lightly brown (around 10 minutes or more) stirring the rice to brown on both sides.
- Add the cooked meat and vegetable mixture.
- Heat just a few minutes to warm it all together.
- Remove from heat. Mix the soy sauce and water add to the pan and stir.
- Serve
