Slow Cooker Dulce de Leche Homemade

Unfortunately I don't have as much time to devote to delicious recipes like milk caramel that takes quite awhile to make from scratch. I would like to make everything from scratch, as that is always the best. This time I took the easy way out, being a career working woman, you sometimes have to find new ways to make great tasting desserts. I love this one, because it doesn't require alot of time in the beginning, perfect for summer. I love my crockpot, and I use it for so many things that I never dreamed would come out so good, and continue to experiment with things that shock me on how good they end up. This one here is another example of it. I loved this idea and it worked like a charm. Making something at night before I go to bed, then viola, the next morning magic is made.

Slow Cooker Dulce de Leche Homemade

I was amazed how easy it was to make this wonderful  milk caramel flavored Dulce de Leche. Using condensed milk and in a crock pot? Doesn't heat the house and  did I mention there is no work involved other than pouring ? Wow , it comes out perfect! So you have to try this just once, maybe twice! Amazing, simple and oh so good delicious milk caramel! Try it on pancakes, bananas, poundcakes, ice cream, waffle's, cereal, breads, cookies and much more~
Here's all you have to do:
2 cans (14 ounce size) sweetened condensed milk
Directions:
Place individual oven-safe ramekins in the bottom of your slow cooker. Pour water around the dishes (do not get water in the dishes) up to three quarters up the side of these dishes.

Pour sweetened condensed milk into the ramekins. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours. I use the small ramekins, depending on how big your crockpot is you will have to adjust on how many you can fit in your pot. Try one can see how you like it, no fuss about this recipe so easy....I really was pleasantly surprised! I used this on my apple slices over pancakes for breakfast! Your imagination is waiting for you! I have a cookie in mind next. This time I used this with pound cake, caramel topping, banana's and whipped cream!
